Maud Earl
A Masked Fox, 1905
These Fox Terriers are the great Ch. Donna Fortuna, Ch. Dukedom (her grandson) and Ch. The Sylph (her granddaughter).
Donna Fortuna, whelped in 1896, was the property of Francis Redmond of the famous Totteridge Kennels.
Undefeated in her long show career, she was described in 1903 as ‘perfection— the best specimen of Fox Terrier of all time.’
Ch. Dukedom was also owned by Francis Redmond, while Ch. The Sylph was the property of J.C. Tinne, Vice Chairman of The Kennel Club and longtime Hon. Secretary of the Fox Terrier Club.
